Our family
A family orchard in the river bluffs
Growing fruit above the Mississippi near Red Wing, Minnesota — with time for conversation and a place for families to slow down.
Our story
Built over generations, run by one family
Fruit has been grown on this land since 1974. Our family purchased the orchard in 2015 and began operations in September 2017, carrying on what the land was already good at — apples, berries and long views across the river valley.
We're a small operation by choice. That means the person who answers your text is usually the same person who picked the fruit that morning, and it means we can take time with visitors rather than move them through a line.
The orchard sits in the Frontenac hills, where the Mississippi River Valley bluffs give the trees good air movement and give visitors one of the prettiest settings in southeastern Minnesota.

What we care about
How we run the orchard
Family-owned
One family runs this orchard. When you visit, you're talking to the people who grow the fruit.
Honest and direct
We'll tell you plainly what's picking well and what isn't — even if it means suggesting you come back next week.
Rooted in the valley
Our rows sit on the bluffs above the Mississippi, and the view is part of every visit.
Seasonal by nature
We follow the fruit, not a fixed calendar. What's available changes with the weather and the harvest.
Growing and farming practices: [placeholder — this section will describe our practices exactly as the orchard confirms them. We don't publish claims about how the fruit is grown until the owner has provided them.]

Come see the valley for yourself
Whether you're picking berries in June or apples in the fall, there's a good chance you'll end up standing still for a minute just looking at the view.
